Center. Although my blogs generally do not endorse an event or conference, I feel obligated to share to my experience as both a symposium speaker and attendee.
The event was titled “Building the World-Class Recruiting Organization…the journey continues.” On the speaking roster were some of the most talented and thought provoking speakers I have seen at a recruiting event. We are just a week away from the SHRM 2011 Talent & Staffing Management Conference being held in San Diego on April 11 – 13. According to the agenda, the event looks to be full of great sessions, workshops and concurrent sessions. What a great opportunity for you to hear from some of the industry’s leaders in Talent Management and Talent Aquisition, while mingling with your peers.
I have been fortunate to speak at the event in past years and was invited back again this year to conduct a session entitled Recruit or Get Out Of The Way…. The purpose of the session is to look at the common mistakes that recruiting organizations make and learn how to overcome these often self-imposed barriers. Although these are all very valid issues, we seem to spend more time licking our wounds than leveraging the tools and resources we do have.
Be sure to join me for a high energy, engaging, and thought provoking session on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 from 3:30 – 4:45PM PST at the Manchester Grand Hyatt. I look forward to seeing you there!
Just a few short weeks ago, on September 28th and 29th, the 2nd Annual Recruitment Learning Conference was held at the Chicago Blackstone Renaissance Hotel. The purpose of the event was to bring together the gurus of the recruitment industry to share their expertise with recruiters, staffing leaders and company executives in an intimate, educational format. For the second time, the event was a fantastic success due to the quality of presenters and their ability to present their ideas in a “how to” format.
Now that the event is over and we are planning the 3rd Annual Learning Conference for 2011, I want to personally thank each of the presenters for taking time out of their schedules to share their knowledge and expertise. Read More→
